Dance Upload Instructions

Here you can upload the music files for each performance in this entry.

We think we will be able to handle most formats (eg mp3, mp4, wav, .m4a, Apple Music AAC Audio File, AAC Audio File, .MPEG Audio File). If not we’ll let you know. Try to keep file sizes below about 30Mb. And please ensure that the file name is less than 63 characters, including spaces and the extension.

You don’t need to upload them all at once: you can come back to this page many times if, say, you didn’t have all the music first time, or you want to change the music for a performance.

Once uploaded we will give the file a specific name (eg d4-maddymadison-65.mp3) to help with identification of the class and the performer. The last number is just to ensure that the music file for every performance is unique.

If there is a filename already in the Uploaded File column then you have already uploaded a music file for that performance. If you want to change it you can upload another one, which will overwrite the first one. It will keep the same name. The ‘from’ file name is your original file name to help with identification if there is any confusion.

So, on each row of your entry :

Press the Browse button on that row and select the music file from your computer or phone and then press Open. This selects the file.

Once selected, press the Upload button on that row; it takes about 10 seconds to upload a typical file, depending on file size and internet speed. If all goes well you should see the uploaded filename. If you get an error then please try again; if they persist then contact our dance secretary ()

Then Browse and upload the music for the next row, and so on.
